Play Area: A designated space for kids to have a blast!
Ambassador Animals: Meet fascinating creatures like snakes, bearded dragons, tortoises, and hedgehogs. These animals will be showcased around the zoo throughout the day.
Owl Feeding: Experience a unique interaction with our Spotted Eagle Owls at 11 AM and 2 PM (suitable for all ages except babies).
Big Cat Enrichment: Watch our big cats engage in playful activities and see how we keep them entertained at 12 PM.
Big Cat Feeding: Witness the majestic cats devour their meals between 2:30 PM and 3 PM (timing may vary based on weather and visitors).
Bunny Petting and Feeding: Purchase a bunny food packet for a fun, hands-on experience with our adorable bunnies.

Catering and Venue Options at Lory Park

You’re welcome to bring your own catering and enjoy our various facilities:

Braai Area: Free to use! This area includes tables and chairs. Please remember to bring your own firelighters and charcoal, as we no longer sell them.
Tarka's table: R 250.00 for the day unless the Café is doing your catering. This comfy spot is located right in front our Cheetah enclosure.
Picnic Areas: Enjoy our spacious grass areas throughout the park, available at no charge.
Small Lapa: R 500.00 for the day. Located between the lions and tigers, it includes tables and chairs.
Big Lapa: R 1500.00 for the day. Situated next to the tea garden, this option also includes tables and chairs.

For a convenient dining option, we offer a kiddies’ party meal for R 75.00 per child, which includes:

A hot dog (vegetarian option available)
A packet of crisps
A cool drink
An ice cream
