Wonky Tonk
I discovered Lory park through watching an Animal Planet tv show. I watched Wonky get her MRI and was in tears when they told Matty the diagnosis. Howevery my tears turnd to joy as Wonky was to be looked after at the park and would lead a long and happy life.I live in Scotland and will probably never be able to visit your park but I wish you well and you are all very special people to help out these endangered annimals.

Thank you so much
Thank you so much for makeing my time at Lory park an expereance that I will carry with me forever. I never would have thought that i would go from cleaning the cages to having to look after the baby caracoles for the whole day. I loved working there so much that I came back to work there even afer my community service was finished. Sometimes i felt like i was getting in the way because i was nervous and there werent that many things to do but i was quite honoured when Marina asked me to come back to help out with the Rangeres. I loved my time at Lory park and can't wait to come back.

Lory park
This was the best day that I have had in n long time was on Sunday when we where at Lory park. The best moment for me and my little girl was to be able to touch and play with the birds and to go in to the petting cage. To me there is nothing more soothing and calming in life like being around animal. When it was time for us to go to our house I was sad coz to me I was already home. That is by far the nice park that I have ever been to and will be going soon again. Thanks to all the people that works at the Lory park and making it so special and nice for us animal lover and for the kids to experience something that not every one in everyday life can get to do. It is a very special place in my heart.

we go to the zoo very often so much that I would even like to valunteer and go there after school every and help the animals, i am an expert on most animals and I think this park is a very good place and the people who work there are very great for speaking for thoughs who cannot speak for themselves and I hope that my generation will do the same as these people are doing now, so I say to them may the spirits of the moon help you on your struggle along side these animals.

A real experience
We visited the Zoo on the public holiday, Wednesday 16th December 2009. What a pleasant and at the same time exhilerating experience. We really enjoyed being that close to the cats, it really makes you appreciate them more for their role in the food chain. We were pleasantly surprised at the clean and well kept environments and the helpfulness of the staff. I will recommend a visit to anyone that find themselves in the area as it is really money well spent. I look forward to another visit in the not too distant future, especially to see how the cubs are developing.Kind regard and well done to the management and staff for making this a pleasant experience. Mark

Chevra Kadisha Community Services Visit Lory Park
To the Managment of Lory Park, I would like to say thank you very much, on behalf of my Second Innings members, who enjoyed a wonderful outing at your beautiful Lory Park, yesterday, 25 November 2009. First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you on running such a well-kept park, and for looking after those magnificent animals, as an independent organisation, with no funding from government. Then, I would like to say that your Tour Guide, George, is simply wonderful. He speaks so beautifully and clearly, he is a pleasure to listen to, and his knowledge, and the information he provides, are absolutely superb. We so enjoyed experiencing the park with him to guide us, and my members were extremely impressed. He is truly an asset to your organisation. I would also like to thank Matty, who provided very tasty toasted sandwiches and salad, with a drink each, for 34 people, with only a few members of staff. Despite this, the food was delicious, and went down very well. Matty and her staff were all helpful and obliging. All in all, it was a lovely day, and we think the animals are just beautiful. You are doing excellent work with these endangered species. It is just such a pity that more people don't know about such a lovely place to visit, and that more advertising is not done. Thank you once again, and best wishes, Kind regards, Grecia Gabriel (Mrs) Second Innings Programme Co-ordinator Chevra Kadisha Community Services

BEST ZOO EVER
i was at Lory Park on Sunday 25 Oct 09,and was priveledged to view the breeding facility area, just before the unfortunate incident with Vicky.Even while taking photos of these lovely animals,I could sense there feeling of intrusion while eating.During the day we had a childrens party in the Public Zoo and of the many children there, they had a wonderful time. The staff were excellent and besides there presence at all times, kept a watchful eye over everybody especially the children.A great big thank you to all the staff at Lory Park for making this day a memorable one for all the young kids.Sad to read that schools have cancelled their excursions.Hope they reconsider their decision as Lory Park is safer than any other zoo that I have ever visited!I would like to wish Vicky a speedy recoverey too.Regards Ivan
