The Lory Park Animal Care Centre has recently been built on the park's property. This state of the art facility was made possible by some very generous donations, in particular from Mr Adam Murray of the Murray Foundation UK. This animal clinic is the heart of Lory Park, without this clinic we would not be able to attend to any animal casualties effectively. Just the normal day to day animal husbandry would be impossible without this facility.
CLINIC ENTRANCE HALL With this facility being on the premises it minimises the need for the transportation of sick and injured animals.
ADMISSION ROOM / OFFICE Upon admission of each animal files and records are opened up and kept recording the progress of each case.
QUARANTINE ROOM Isolation of sick animals to prevent the spread of infectious diseases is of paramount importance to the running of Lory Park.
ANIMAL HAND REARING SECTION All newly born mammals are cared for in this section.
BIRD HAND REARING SECTION Our Hand Rearing Section prides itself in being a facility where we can give each new bird the personal attention required.
| INCUBATION ROOM All the CITES I and CITES II eggs are kept in our Incubation Room allowing for the very best care possible. | STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
OPERATING THEATRE The operating theatre is still under construction. Once completed, all necessary operations can be done on-site.
